Bonenkaied out

The last couple of weeks of December has been a busy time. End-of-year parties, going-away-parties, two taiko concerts (Kodo in Osaka and Matsurishu in Kyoto), meeting old friends, and a couple of sightseeing/hiking trips thrown in for good measure. All the while getting ready to move and trying to get work stuff whipped into reasonable shape. So here are some snaps.

And a hiking trip into the Kitayama after the snowfall...


And so I have survived the year-end season, without going postal over all the Xmas(TM) store music, without too much damage to my waistline, and - despite Ted's dire predictions - without being given a floor lamp as a going-away present (but I did score a very nice sake/tea cup, a hand-made hanko, a ukio-e, and some Okinawan booze to take home to Canada :-) ).
